It’s time to start preparing for this biennial event being held in Auckland.

In conjunction with Visionz™, an education programme for optometrists, optical staff, and practice managers aims to provide practical help on issues facing the everyday practice that can add value to your work place.

Eduvisionz™ has been developed to allow those attending the opportunity to not only gain some valuable CPD/CE points (where available) but also catch up with colleagues and see all the latest offerings from the optical industry wholesalers.

Being held concurrently to Visionz™ and Eduvisionz™ is the ADONZ annual conference that is hosting the International Opticians Association’s annual conference.

A one-day low vision conference is being planned for the Friday with guest speakers from overseas attending.

The weekend will be high energy. Among some of the topics, speakers will talk on social media, picking the best team – getting it right from the start, managing your business, practice displays, conducting a SWOT analysis, insights and expertise from the wonderful world that is retail and how to use your life experiences to eventually know what you want in life, and secondly, on how to get it.

A level 1 St John First Aid course run on the Saturday afternoon. This is a four-hour course with a NZQA 6401/6402 acknowledgment at the end of the course.
